Talyrond 3 with optional 8” vertical spindle travel * Sold in “as is condition” * All motor drives and spindles functioned properly when last used. * All electronics that we have available will be sent with system. I do not believe that the electronics will support full operation of the gages. * Several companies offer Talyrond system upgrades: with Windows operating system and motor controls. With the upgrades the systems should function like new. * Replacement Cost New: $128,000 (8” vertical travel) Note: Taylor Hobson discontinued this product model aprox. 4 years ago due to high cost to manufacture. * I believe that most service components and spindle oil are still available (new and used) through many sources. * Vertical column rotates 180 degrees to allow measurement of components on front table and larger components to be measured to the rear of the gaging systems. I believe that the Talyrond 3’s are the only high precision roundness gaging systems in the world that provide this versatile feature |
