Precision High-Speed Spindle- The heavy ribbed headstock houses a gearless precision spindle, eliminating vibrations, assuring superior surface-finish and prolonged tool life. The spindle is supported by permanently grease lubricated triple angular contact bearings and double cylindrical roller bearings, keeping thermal displacement to a minimum. Powerful AC Brushless Spindle Drive- The AC drive motor is service free since troublesome motor brushes are no longer required. A 2-step separate gearbox provides full power across a wide range of spindle speeds. Constant surface speed control offers infinite variable speeds, resulting in shorter cutting times and optimum tool life. An Extra-Rigid Slant Bed for Ideal Chip Disposal- The 45° slant bed design provides high rigidity for heavy cutting and large swing for unobstructed machining. Tooling is easily accessible for fast setup. Part loading and unloading is performed quickly and easily with less operator fatigue. All chips flow freely downward into the chip bed area without interfering with parts cutting. Versatile CNC Control- The versatility and Popularity of the Fanuc controllers is phenomenal. The easy to use Fanuc 10T Control provides several options for the operator. Programmable Tailstock Quill- The heavy-duty tailstock body houses a 3.0” diameter quill with a built-in live center suited for support of long and slender workpieces. Tailstock thrust is adjustable from 110 (50) to 1450 pounds (658 kg) to suit the application. (Tailstock not functioning) Powerful Slide Feed Unit- The reliable high-torque feed motors, massive ball screws and wide slide ways are mated to provide the maximum thrust required for large bore drilling for high speed turning with cutting tools of the latest development. It was making parts when we had taken it from the shop floor of its previous owner. The spindle runs smoothly and is very quiet; the Lexan/Plexi-Glass on the door has been replaced from its previous dingy window, we have ran through the basic operations on this machine proving it to be in fair/good running condition. As you can see in the pictures, the tailstock has been removed from the lathe. The tailstock unit is not functional. It will still be included with the lathe machine. Please refer to the pictures for cosmetic condition of this machine. HOME SHOPS: RUN THIS MACHINE OFF SINGLE-PHASE POWER! The R series Rotary Phase Converters are built to run 220V Three-Phase Equipment from 220V Single-Phase Power Source! The Rotary Phase Converter is meant to supply full running current to a three-phase motor normally providing it with full running torque.
